Height Limitation Exclusion

An exclusion found on some contractor general liability policies for work above a set height or number of stories.

What it means for your firm

Owners and neighbors in dense cities often require that no height exclusion apply. Engineering and architecture general liability policies often do not include one, because they are written for professional firms rather than builders.

The absence of an exclusion is not the same as a policy designed to cover construction work. Ask your agent to confirm what your policy says.
