Named Insured
The person or business listed on the declarations page as the policyholder.
What it means for your firm
Only the entities listed, and those that fall within the policy's definition of insured, are covered. If you have more than one company, make sure each one that needs coverage is named.
The first named insured usually handles premium payments and receives notices for everyone on the policy.
